Brow Lamination

Lift & Lamination Notice:

Certain conditions/ circumstances May prevent you from being a candidate for brow lamination. If any of the following apply to you, you are not eligible to book a brow lamination appointment.

  • A previous reaction experienced to the same or similar service in the past
    Skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, lesions or sores, open wounds
    Contagious skin diseases (herpes simplex, Chicken Pox, or Shingles)
    Skin trauma, cuts, abrasions, burns, and swelling in the immediate area
    Infections such as Impetigo or Conjunctivitis
    Chemotherapy (cancer treatment)
    Recent operations around the eyes, head, or face or scar tissue in immediate areas
    Hypersensitive skin/eyes
    Alopecia (loss of hair)
    Use of Accutane in the last six months

If you have any of these contraindications and cannot be cared for but still book and show up for an appointment, you will lose your deposit and have to pay a new one to rebook, if possible.

 

Pre-Appointment Care

In preparation for your brow appointment:

  • Discontinue the use of skincare containing active ingredients, acids (AHAs, BHAs, etc.), and all retinol one week before. This includes professional skincare treatments that have such. 

  • Discontinue the use of brow growth serums one week before. 

  • No waxing or tinting 48 hours before the appointment

  • Do not wear makeup on the day of your appointment.

 

Appointment After-Care

  • Avoid getting the brow hairs wet for 48 hours. 

  • No makeup or makeup removers are allowed for 48 hours. 

  • Avoid touching brow hairs. This includes sleeping on your side or face. Do not use an eye mask. 

  • Avoid heat and steam from showers, dishwashers, ovens, etc., for 24 hours. 

  • Avoid using skincare containing active ingredients, acids (AHAs, BHAs, etc.), and all retinol 48 hours post-treatment. Also, avoid exfoliating the skin around the brows for 48 hours. 

  • Daily, After wetting the brow hairs  (after the initial 48 hours), brush them into the desired shape and apply a nourishing/styling product.

 

Lash Lift

Certain conditions/ circumstances May prevent you from being a candidate for lash lift. If any of the following apply to you, you are not eligible to book a lash lift appointment.

  • Previous reaction experienced with the same or similar service in the past
    Cysts on the eyelids
    Hordeola/Style/Styes
    Blepharitis
    Chemotherapy within the year
    Skin Disease, skin trauma, cuts, abrasions, burns and swelling in the immediate area
    Skin Disorders in the general eye area (Dermatitis, Xanthelasma & Syringoma)
    ye infections such as Impetigo or Conjunctivitis
    Eye inflammation such as Uveitis
    Recent operations around the eyes, head, or face or scar tissue in immediate areas
    Overly Watery eyes
    Hypersensitive skin/eyes
    Keratitis
    Bell's Palsy or any condition that makes closing or opening eyes difficult
    Glaucoma

If you have any of these contraindications and cannot be cared for but still book and show up for an appointment, you will lose your deposit and have to pay a new one to rebook, if possible.

 

Pre-Appointment Care

 
 

IN PREPARATION FOR YOUR LASH APPOINTMENT:

  • Discontinue the use of waterproof mascara two weeks before

  • Remove lash extensions one month before your lash lift appointment 

  • Discontinue lash growth serums 1-week before 

  • Arrive with no makeup on your eyes on the day of the appointment

 

Appointment After-Care

  • For 24 hours, do not get your lashes wet; apply mascara, makeup remover, lash serums, eye creams, skincare oils, or heavy moisturizers on the forehead and around the eye. Avoid eye masks side and face sleeping. 

  • Avoid heat and steam from showers, dishwashers, ovens, etc. for 24 hours

  • Do not sleep on your side or face. Do not use an eye mask. 

  • Use a daily nourishing serum.
