If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
If you have been on Acutane in the last year
If you have used retinol or Retin-a in the last 6 weeks
If you require antibiotics for dental procedures
If you are at an elevated risk of infection
If you have had botox in the last 2 weeks
If you have used skincare containing exfoliating acids in the last 2 weeks
If you are currently on antibiotics or have been in the last 2 weeks
If you take an immune suppressing medication or have an autoimmune disorder
If you have difficulty healing from small wounds
If you have a history of keloid scars
If you are unable to lay down for up to 3 hours
If you have been to the tanning bed in the last 2 weeks
If you have an upcoming surgery within a month
If you have skin conditions such as eczema or psoriasis in the procedure area
If you are diabetic with uncontrolled blood sugar. (You may get the procedure if your blood sugar is controlled and you receive note from doctor)
If you have had facials, microdermabrasion, laser and chemical peels, etc.
within 6 weeks of appointment
If you currently are undergoing chemo or cancer treatments or have been in the last 12 months/ currently have cancer
If you have any form of hepatitis
If you have HIV / AIDs
If you have a bleeding condition/ issue such as hemophilia
Have a skin condition such as a sun burn or eczema in the area to be tattooed
If you have any of these contraindications and cannot be tattooed but still book and show up for an appointment, you will lose your deposit and have to pay a new one to rebook, if possible.
Brows
Brow Pre-Care
In preparation for your brow appointment:
Stop all skin treatments 6 weeks prior to appointment. This includes microdermabrasion, laser and chemical peels.
Discontinue the use of retinol products 6 weeks prior to your appointment.
No tanning bed useage 2 weeks prior to your appointment.
No injectables or botox 2 weeks prior to your appointment.
Discontinue all skincare containing exfoliating acids (AHA's, BHA's, glycolic, lactic, salyilic), benzol peroxide, 2 weeks prior to appointment on the forehead and procedure area.You may continue use below the eyes.
Do not take fish oil or vitamin e supplements 2 weeks prior to your appointment
No brow tinting, tweazing, shaving or plucking 2 weeks prior to appointment.
Do not sweat excessively or workout 24 hours prior to appointment
No blood thinners 24-48 hours before your appointment. This includes caffeine, coffee, tea, soda, alcohol, Ibuprofen, or aspirin.
Do not apply makeup to the eyes on the day of the appointment
Brow After-Care
Wash your brows 2x a day, morning and night with clean hands and the provided cleanser. Wash the area very gently using outwards motions for 20 seconds. Cup water in hands to rinse gently and pat dry with a clean paper towel. Apply a VERY small amount (half of a grain of rice per eyebrow) of the provided after care ointment 2x a day post wash as well. Do not overuse the ointment as this will cause irritation and healing complications. Do this for 10-14 days, or until all scabs are gone. It is possible to see some lymphatic drainage the day of your procedure. Wipe away gently with the provided gauze.
No swimming or submerging the face in water for 2 weeks.
Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds 2 weeks post appointment. Wear sunglasses large enough to cover the procedure area if you will be in the sun.
NO MAKEUP FOR 2 WEEKS POST PROCEDURE ON THE BROWS.
Avoid all skincare containing exfoliating acids (AHA's, BHA's, glycolic, lactic, salyilic), benzol peroxide and retinol for 2 weeks post appointment on the forehead and procedure area. You may continue use below the eyes.
Avoid steam/saunas for 2 weeks.
No botox, injectables, or skin treatments for 2 weeks post appointment.
Avoid excessive sweating the week of your appointment.
Keep showers SHORT and warm, but not too hot, as to avoid steam.
Avoid sleeping face down for 2 weeks.
What To Expect
Day 1: You may experience some redness and minor swelling around the procedure area. An ice pack may be applied to relieve immediate discomfort. Initially your brows will look darker and perhaps larger than you want. Gently blot your brows with the provided gause if lymphatic fluid is present to help prevent scabbing
Days 4-7: You will notice your brows starting to feel tight/ itchy and forming scabs as well as started to peel.
Days 7-14 your brows will continue to flake and peel over the next week, even while washing and applying ointment. DO NOT pick, touch, or scratch your brows as this will cause pigment loss, scarring or possibly infection.
Days 14-28: your brows may appear patchy or uneven, they may even disappear almost entirely. This is a natural part of the healing process but your brows pigment will return before your 6/8 week touch up
Eyeliner
Eyeliner Pre-Care
IN PREPARATION FOR YOUR EYELINER APPOINTMENT:

Do not use any lash serums 2 weeks prrior
No tanning bed usage 2 weeks prior
No injectables or botox 2 weeks prior
Any steroid or antibiotics must be completed 2 weeks prior to appointment
Lash extensions must be removed 2 weeks prior to appointment
No lash lift/tint 1 week prior
Do not take fish oil or vitamin e supplements 1 week prior to appointment
Do not sweat excessively or workout 24 hours prior to appointment
No blood thinners 24-48 hours before your appointment. This includes caffeine, coffee, tea, soda, alcohol, Ibuprofen, or aspirin.
Do not apply makeup to the eyes on the day of the appointment.
If you wear contacts, please wear glasses to your appointment.

Wash your eyelids 2x a day, morning and night with clean hands and the provided cleanser. Wash the area very gently using outwards motions for 20 seconds. Cup water in hands to rinse gently and pat dry with a clean paper towel. Do this for 10-14 days, or until all scabs are gone. It is possible to see some lymphatic drainage the day of your procedure. Avoid excessive sweating during the 2 week healing window.
Keep showers SHORT and warm, but not too hot, as to avoid steam.
Avoid sleeping face down.
What To Expect
For the first day or two, your eyes may be irritated and slightly swollen. An ice pack wrapped in a clean paper towel may be applied to help relieve immediate discomfort. As your eyeliner heals, it is likely to become tight and itchy. Avoid touching and DO NOT pick the pigment/scabs as it flakes. Let them slough off naturally. Your initial color will fade 30-50% from your initial session. Color may disappear entirely or be patchy while healing but will be tweaked at your 6-8 week touch up session.
